DANCE. REJOICE. RELAX.

Imagine this:

You wake up to the sounds of waves lapping on the beach under your terrace.

You step outside, breath deeply, and take in the blue-green of the water and the serenity around you.

You inhale the scent of wild thyme and oregano growing on the mountain, next to your room.

You join the group of women you developed an intimate bond with, on a terrace overlooking the opposite island, for your morning twerkshop.

You dance and let loose in the open air, sipping a Freddo Cappuccino (Greek iced coffee).

You have breakfast, a smoothie bowl or a greek omelette, and take time to yourself relaxing at the beach.

After a siesta to recharge, you meet the group for an afternoon activity- a local herbs workshop, led by a Kalymnian chef. She takes us on a hike to see how the herbs grow in nature, and we make a wild sage pesto, tasting our creations.

Later, we go out to a bar, and dance with the locals to Greek and English music.

Sounds dreamy, right?

What's the group size and level?

  • 10 participants at most (not including partners). I keep our retreat small as I want you to have a unique intimate experience hanging out with your retreat community , exploring Kalymnos and receiving personal attention in your classes.

  • The retreat is open to beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate dancers. The dance classes will offer a range of variations, beginners can focus on the fundamentals and more advanced dancers can fine-tune techniques and flow.

  • The dance classes are a safe space for you to learn in, built in a gradual way so you will not be overwhelmed. You might be challenged, but I believe in helping you get out of your comfort zone by 30%, not by 300%. I'm here for you 💗

Wake up to this view

When should I plan to arrive & how do I get there?

Plan to arrive September 15 around mid-day (12:00-16:00) and leave September 20 mid-day (12:00-16:00).

Ways to get to Kalymnos:

  • Fly from Athens to Kalymnos. Be aware that flights usually leave very early in the morning and can get canceled because of strong winds so it's a little risky. It can be a bummer to rush on the last day to get to the airport and miss the last activity.

  • Fly to Kos, an island that has an international airport, and take a ferry. They have multiple ferries a day, you'll get to enjoy a fun boat ride (I really love it) and you'll have more flexibility. You can also use this opportunity to spend a night or two in Kos before or after the retreat- Kos is a party island!

Find all transportation details here.

What's the schedule?

Please note this last year's schedule, and there might be changes in terms of content, instructors, and time, as well as weather conditions affecting outside activities. Rest assured the start and end time of the retreat will remain the same, so you can plan your travel in peace :) Please know that all dance and movement workshops will be conducted in the early mornings or sunset, on a terrace overlooking the water (not in a studio).
